Central Southwark Community Centre

Location: Southwark, London

The Central Southwark Community Centre is a community hub, including a food bank, that gives people in need a place to visit that will help them receive some basic care provisions and give them the means to improve their own situations.

The Central Southwark Community Centre have run a food bank for over 3  years supporting those in their community who found themselves, more often than not, in need through no fault of their own and are merely victims of circumstance.

The Community Centre also runs a Holiday Club which aims to provide holiday learning, food and play for families who need it most. The Holiday Club improves social inclusion, nutrition and wellbeing, assisting in reducing financial and emotional pressure on the families who attend our holiday clubs.

CSCH supports 144 households locally per week, with 966 food parcels being delivered across the Southwark area in July alone.

How you can help The Central Southwark Community Centre
