South Central Ambulance Service 

Location: Hampshire

The South Central Ambulance Service provides traditional 999 emergency services, as well as non-emergency patient transport services across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey and Sussex, serving a population of 7 million people.

Demand for services are increasing every year and in the last 12 months they attended 565,000 incidents for 999, over 1.2 million calls to NHS 111 and undertook over 800,000 patient transport journeys.

During the Pandemic the South Central Ambulance Service has been busy coordinating the delivery of PPE across the region to front line ambulance stations and patient transport service stations. Over the last 5 months they have delivered more than 1 million pieces of PPE in the area.

How you can help the South Central Ambulance Service

Delivery Vehicle: The South Central Ambulance Service are delivering vital PPE reserves across the region. They need drivers with cars to come and help them collect PPE from their HQ  and distribute it to front line ambulance stations and patient transport service stations.
