Stonegrove Community Trust

 Location: Barnet, London

OneStonegrove is a modern new community facility in Edgware, home to the Stonegrove Community Trust, St Peter’s Church, The Café, Little Leaders nursery & The Hive Foundation. OneStonegrove brings people together from all backgrounds, ages and religions to socialise together and build long lasting friendships.

During the pandemic the food bank, previously run by St Peters Church, was expanded to become a partnership project. OneStonegrove converted areas of the centre to store and sort food which is then distributed into care packages for people in the local community, delivered either contact free direct to them or via other local charities.

The café was transformed into a Covid-19 kitchen project, producing delicious and nutritious home made meals catering to a wide variety of dietary requirements. Since March 18th, around 30,000 frozen meals have been distributed via contact free delivery to families in the area or to other partner organisations.

How you can help Stonegrove Community Trust

Food packing: Stonegrove Community Trust needs volunteers to produce the meals that support over 750 people per week. At the centre you’ll be working with a cohort of Stonegrove’s lovely volunteers, preparing, packing and sorting these meals.
